mini apple pie
Ingredients:
1 apple
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of brown sugar
Total Time: 40 minutes
Yield: 1 serving
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
2. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut off the top of the apple. Using a spoon, remove the core. Continue to scoop out the apple and create a hollow space in the middle of the apple.
3. Once you have hollowed out the apple, separate the pieces that can be eaten from the core.
4. Of the usable pieces, chop them up smaller and put in a small bowl. Add cinnamon and brown sugar; then mix together.
5. Transfer the apple coated in cinnamon and brown sugar, and put it inside the hollowed out apple.
6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the filled apple onto the tray.
7. Cover the apple lightly with tin foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
