hunger games: goat cheese apple tart
Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 6 tarts
Ingredients:
Flaky biscuit dough
2 tablespoons crumbled goat cheese
2 tablespoons brown sugar and cinnamon cream cheese
18 thin apple slices
olive oil
brown sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
2. Lightly spray baking sheet with olive oil.
3. Split each biscuit in half, then place on baking sheet.
4 In a medium sized bowl, mix together the goat cheese and cream cheese using a spatula until smooth.
5. On a cutting board, using a sharp knife, cut an apple in half, avoiding the core. Turn the apple, skin face up and slice 18 thin slices.
6. Spread the cheese mixture onto each biscuit.
7. Add three slices of apple per biscuit.
8. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the apple slices.
9. Place the tarts into the oven for 8 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
