Homemade sushi
Ingredients:
1/4 cup brown rice
3/4 cup water
3-4 avocado slices
3 baby carrots
1 tbs. cucumber slices
1 seaweed sushi sheet
Directions:
1. First, make the rice by boiling the water, then add brown rice and let it summer for 35-40 minutes until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
2. Next, peel a cucumber and cut it into thinner strips. Then, cut the carrots and avocado into thinner strips making all of them the same size.
3. Once you have all of your veggies prepped, put the cooked rice on one sheet of sushi paper. Spread the rice over the seaweed paper and leave one side plain which will be used to seal the sushi roll.
4. Finally, layer all of the vegetables and roll the sushi, pressing in as you go.
5. Once the sushi is rolled, use a large knife to cut the sushi into pieces and assemble onto a plate.
6. Serve with soy sauce.
