homemade dolmas
Ingredients:
1 jar pickled grape leaves
1.5 cups cooked rice
extra virgin olive oil to taste
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Carefully remove all of the grape leaves from the pickle jar and separate them out. You can freeze the other leaves by flattening them and placing them in a bag.
3. Make rice ahead of time and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour before making.
2. Mix together cooked cooled rice, olive oil and salt in a separate bowl.
3. Spoon the rice mixture into each grape leave, then fold the grape leaf as you would a burrito.
4. Place on a plate and enjoy!
