black bean burger patties

Yield: 3 patties
Ingredients:
1/4 cup canned black beans
1 cube chopped basil
1 cube crushed garlic
cayenne pepper to taste
1 teaspoon olive oil
Directions:
1. Measure out 1/4 cup black beans and rinse them with a strainer.
2. Add black beans to a medium sized bowl. Next add one cube of crushed garlic and one cube of chopped basil. In the same bowl, add cayenne pepper to taste.
3. Using your hands, mash together the bean mixture and seasonings to make a patty consistency.
4. In a medium sized pan, add olive oil. After the olive oil is heated, spoon patty mixture onto the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes. After about 5 minutes, flip the patties.
